Looks like progress. Keep it up and show more pictures of your progress. Thanks for posting.
just tonight I was on google looking for interior photos of Pennsy cars so I can detail mine. Great job & great timing!
Will post more pics as I finish up. If you search passenger car interiors in the forum youll find all kinds of stuff. The hardest thing about interiors is where to find parts a lot of folks on this forum are extremely knowledgeable about whats where and will help. Now does anyone know where to get streamlined roof blanks in O cause Northwest scale supply doesn't seem to have them
streamlined roof blanks show up from time to time on eBay, mostly the wood ones. American Lighweight kits have a nice extruded polymer roof, which also become available periodically.
Your profile says you're in the NE (northeast?) George Peckman usually has several of these roofs for sale. He attends the Strasburg and Cherry Valley shows, among others.
I have some wood streamlined roofs available. Please contact me offline at

I'm in Nebraska , UP headquarters land and can only dream of attending east coast shows alas I might make Chicago if it just snows enough.
Looks great thanks for sharing
That's beautiful. Did that start out as a Walthers/All Nation kit?
I think its a crestline kit, does anyone know if crestline predates walthers, or is a brand of walthers, cause I'm way too young to now but would like to. I purchased it about 3 years past on evilbate in a box of water damaged rusted Oscale trains for a song and it turned out to be 3PRR coaches, 2 ,28_1,parlor cars, 8,1,2, Pullman, 10,1,2, Pullman, and walthers 3,c,sol., observation. They were wrapped in newspaper dated 1953 Montauk. They had to be media blasted to clean the rusty paper off,
Finally got this sucker assembled. Now if I could stop spending money on interior details I could get a higher res camera and take better pics. All good things in all good time. this car was trashed when I started I spent a little and learned a lot. I still have to put the window butt bars, curtains, train #, and dullcote the ends just don't like the shiny vinyl diaphragms wish for some old metal ones with a little tarnish way more character. She aint no contest winner but she'll pass the 50feet, 50mph rule with flying colors. word of advice if your stripping old metal sides in your homemade blasting cabinet Remember to watch your air pressure to the gun the ripples in the sides of this car are from the metal stretching in my overzealous effort to get the rust and old newspaper off next time I'll sneak up on it. Thanks to every one for there comments and help.

Yeah, nice. All you need is to lighten them up a bit with a simple picture edit application. I think mine is Micro Photo or something, and with it even a cheap camera produces magazine worthy photos.
Looks very nice.
Very nice details! Looks great! Terry
After starting the Kaisner shell I discovered its too short by about 3 feet so selective compression was needed on interior. My son sprayed the interior walls Ivory and I have been painting the seats , hoppers and Porters area waiting on roof vents and this one will get decaled hopefully this week. The roofs for are all that's left to paint

Fantastic work!!
Thanks for sharing
i usually drew my doors and made decals for them
Excellent!! Thanks, Malcolm
Scored a Box car Ken 10-5 Pullman sleeper and been working when I can in hopes of finishing in time for Chicago. I got really ambitious and attempted sliding pocket doors on the roomettes and one double room ensuited. Custom built the floor out of 1/32" mahogany veneer I had laying around. Using Delta models seats and a few underbody details as well as Keil- Line parts and a pair of Calumet 43 R trucks sourced from some cool guys so heres a start and more pics to follow as build progresses

Really impressive!
Great work. Have seen some impressive work done on the Kasiner cars over the years.
Holy Moly, that 10-5 is terrific work!
Well finished the car in time for Chicago but the monetary gods conspire against me . Weather in Ne. has been good enough to have to dig and pour footings for multiple projects against the fact the ground is still full of frost, now have to listen to cost complaints from customers, frost bucket costs more footings are not uniform due to frost breaking wherever uses more concrete costs more money! Sure the top 6" is thawed but below that your crapshooting, boils down to losing major income, keep customer happy. The gentleman who complained the most had the worst frost and after telling me he should have hired someone who new what they were doing will now pay the most or get a lein on property. Enough rant, heres final shots Car turned out OK despite initial measureing gaff not too sure about the battery boxes they seem to stick out too far to me?
