Hello all,

So here's the dilemma, I own a Boucher 2500, but no cars to go behind it. It seems that the cars are harder to find then the locomotives. Well my Boucher had it's coupler replaced with an IVES. With that being said, what IVES cars would be large enough to mate up with a 2500? If there's any other suggestions, please let me know. I won't stop my hunt for Boucher cars, this is just a Band-Aid and the idea would be, I would get a locomotive for the stand in cars once I get the Boucher cars.

Thank you,

Sam

I don't know my prewar numbers well. I just recall "The Cabinet" and it's many occupants.... Arch windows and ornate brass windows/balcony, shades, oh and brass journal covers. It came in brown and I think was Ives and/or Lionel. Celest. roof.    It was a "short Madison" in my eyes.  And brown?; that's PRR to me.. Link and pin couplers.

I sure wish there was more prewar reference info online. The absence of it doesn't help prewar popularity imo. Gotta wonder what was tossed out because poor search results; "nothing"; implied to a novice there was likely no value at  theall in ol "rusty/dented toy train".

...spellwreck... I give up for today
