After a few years and two track plans I’m going to declare my passenger platforms completed. Here they are from start to finish in a boatload of images.

My original configuration had Dead-end tracks and elevated platforms. At this point I am a year or so into the project and I can no longer stand the close ended tracks in the terminal area and I had acquired a post war Marx metal truss bridge I wanted to incorporate into the upper level. I was not happy with my platforms or the mammoth cave looking tunnel portal or the fact that I couldn’t reverse the direction my trains were traveling in so all of these annoyances got changed when I reconfigured the track Here is the revised upper level track plan and it has remained the same ever since.

Here is the plan for the roof beam construction.

I have two covered platforms for passengers a service platform between the passenger platforms and there is also a Railway Express platform to the far left that I will finish out after I build my station.

thanks

Terry,

The lower level of track is at 45" off the floor the upper level of track is at 53" and the backdrop is at 61" I'm not a fan of looking down on top of my trains I like them at eye level when I'm sitting on my stool .

Here are a few pics that may give you a better idea of the lay of the land

I really enjoyed your work.  The workers on the platforms did an outstanding job!  Nice nighttime pictures.
