Just wanted tell you guys that I got back my MTH covered gondola that the staff converted to a track cleaning car. Bravo!!! It looks and operates great. Nice to have clean track. Ed Powers.

It appears that the track cleaning mechanism is easily removable and you can return the car to normal service and with the cover on your gondola, the holes for the mechanism will not be visible. Is this correct?

Haven't tried it but yes I beleive that you could restore it back and not see the holes. Ed P.
Looks pretty simple, is that a steel or lead plate for weight that the Scotchbrite is wrapped around?

Yes we build these in house. The weights are machined pressed steel made to the size of the interior of the car. We can customize about any car.
