PCC on Staten Island

There is a recently posted video titled PADI diving on Staten Island that shows as diver swimming around a

PCC streetcar with the windows removed somewhere off Staten Island. Any info as to how this car got there?

Not Staten Island.

Ex-Kansas City car 2255 was saved from the scrap heap by the Buckingham Valley
Trolley Association. But, because the trolley was vandalized while in storage in
Philadelphia, 2255 was deemed beyond restoration and was scuttled in a flooded
quarry for the amusement of scuba divers.
