Preiser makes 2 different scales of figures that are promoted as O-scale: 1/50 and 1/43. It usually says somewhere on the package which scale is inside. The 1/50 figures blend very well with Arttista figures. Preiser 1/43 figures (and Life-Like figures) are good if you want to model basketball or football players. They are visibly huge when positioned in a scene of 1/48 and 1/50 figures.
Thanks..I thought they may be too tall at 1:43 for what I needed
People are different heights, How would you compare a 5 footer to a 6 footer?
Dobermann,
This picture was posted several years ago, but it gives one a relative comparison of figures on the market, although Preiser is not among the figures shown. Not sure if this helps.

You're right...I bought some scene specific Homies but they look out of place unless isolated.
Before I drop $40 and shipping on some Preiser I was curious about the match with Artista.

You are right about the HOMIES, They are bigger and do not match up. I believe the Preiser, Scenic Accents and Arttista are comparable

These are really nice - never saw them before. Reasonably priced for metal figures IMO.
I ended up with a lot of Bachmann O-Gauge "Scenescape" figures and they are decent for the money if you can find them on sale, which is frequent. I would slot them in somewhere around the Arista....
But I might be switching to the above!
Question: How do they "stack up" in size to the figure comparison above?
Thanks!

Mike,
I have purchased a number of these figures and they are great. Do you know if they are still available. I sent an e-mail several months ago and never got a reply. I'd like to order more.

Older couple, I have not seen them at regional Pittsburgh shows. I believe Figure size is listed as S or O Scale. Every figure has a base.
From the website.

There is a phone number listed. I will have to try contacting that way. I have a number of figures from different manufacturers on my layout and for the money, I like these the best.

I work with a guy that's 6'10" 375lbs. He'd be a 1/40 scale guy, lol.
I just received 10 figures from metal figures yesterday. Very nice for the money. Contact at metalfigures@hotmail.com or www.metalfigures.net. Tstark they also sent a list with over 500 different figures.
