Well, here it goes..... Although many are at home, working from home, caring for kids and all the other variations during these trying times, I, being retired have not changed my schedule much other than recovering from losing a spouse in August unexpectedly.

A little explanation as to why phase 2 now. When we moved here (Scranton PA) we arranged for Mianne to build and send us a 6'X10' setup. That went up and although not dormant, nothing was going to be built or permanent since it was only 1 of 3 phases. So, in the meantime, just ran some trains and played around.

Phase 2 is a dogleg off the 6x10, being 13' long by 2'. So hear goes the build....... Now to start planning a track layout.... fun, fun, fun. Thanks for all the ideas over the years.

Eric - So very sorry to hear about your wife.  Please accept my condolences.

Thanks for the closeup pictures.  The Mianne Benchwork looks to be a very high quality product.    I am sure it is not cheap. But like so many other things in life, you get what you pay for.

Considering the amount of time it will save, it looks to be well worth the $$$.

Hey Eric,

Just want to send my condolences on the loss of your wife.  I lost mine on September 30th to breast cancer and it's definitely been a rough ride.  I'm fortunate enough to have an excellent support system and I hope you have one too.

I currently have no layout nor trains.  I have my Mianne benchwork all banded up in the shed.  I'm just now planning on setting up a layout again and start buying trains (if the budget permits).  After a few years hiatus from trains I'm getting excited about getting back into it, only on a smaller scale.

I look forward to the progress you make and thanks for sharing.
