Hello all!

Recently discovered an MTH brick was out of phase with all it's brothers.  Had 32 volts in the switches!!   Got that resolved.

My question is...  could that possibly have been causing some of the "out of RF range" errors and general communication problems between engine and remote.

Am still running into slow response times from engines once a command is issued.

Carly,

Are you running your Legacy Shay via DCS or with the Cab2?   Almost sounds like you have some dirty track that may have a few gaps from not being screw down properly, so it will not move.  Lots of variables, need to know a little more about the layout before I can help you.  Post some pictures of the layout and show me where you are having your signal problems, as I remember you have a nice FT layout.  The Phase problem now cured, should have no effect on your current problem.
