No, you can't assume that they will be in phase if you randomly power them from a strip, even though they are equipped with polarized plugs.
Instead of guessing, use the standard method to put them in phase, and then mark their plugs accordingly. Insert the plugs into the strip the same way every time.
You have new in quotes so I don't know if you mean new or just new to you. If they are just new to you, i recall there was an issue with the early ones that had the common mismarked. Anyway, you will know pretty quick.
