Phasing question: Bricks and PW Transformers

Currently my layout is powered by a PW ZW, and I am getting my first 180 Powerhouse and a TPC 300. I could use the TPC just with the ZW, I know, but is it possible to phase the Powerhouse and ZW together?

I ask, because I have read about improved performance of Legacy/TMCCwith "Chopped sine wave" and wonder if the Powerhouse provides that. If so, I might use it for the trains and the Z for accessories.

If I do that, could the Powerhouse and ZW be phased and have a common ground?
