Evidence or not, they can’t just throw up their hands, call it an Act of God, and walk away. People were killed in this loss and there’s no way that a scapegoat won’t be called. It’s how the process works, as the families of the dead and wounded won’t accept that there wasn’t SOMEONE they could point a finger at.

Sadly, in such cases, it can easily turn into a witch hunt. I have no clue if this guy caused the wreck or not, but it’s sad to know his career is over, no matter what the outcome of the investigation turn out to be.
