THAT is really nice Alex, I love waterfront settings, and you have used space well and created a very interesting scene. Your layout is topnotch.

Love the wood plank wall. That's cool. Not all that crazy about the water. Nice job.
THANKS to all you guys for the
very nice comment's.
THANKS AGAIN ALEX
How did you make that timber wall, and what did you use to stain it?
Hi Jumijo , all the wood is from Home Depot. It's 1/2 inch
square and round stock and 36 inches long.
The stain is Minwax dark walnut #2716 and I sprayed it on
with a sprayer from Home Depot. Here are some more photo's
of the wall,stain, and sprayer.
THANKS,ALEX

Alex great work ! I read your old posts in the old OGR forum. Your harbor scene turned out "awesome" 10/10! I personally like the way the water turned out; if I remeber its plexiglass with paint on the bottom side. The water- it looks real, as if there is seaweed below the surface and the dock with the lionel tugboat ( I think its a lionel tug?) turned out great!

for the kind comment's
Seacoast, it's a frosted plastic panel from Home Depot
that's painted on both sides with three different colors and there is 4 coat's of
epoxy on the top. Yes that is the Lionel tug boat.
Seacoast I really appreciate your kind word's very very nice
THANKS,ALEX
Alex,
I really enjoyed those photos. It is difficult to build a credible water scene and yours is terrific. Now, where are those ice cream guys?
Eliot
Thank you choo-choo-ken and Eliot for the very kind word's
Hey Eliot we need to see one of your awesome video's
of some of your engine's going around your layout.
I think everyone would agree
