Here's an old IC/ICG work train I stumbled upon. The gray or black car with windows looks like an old boxcar, and the solid orange car looks to have been some baggage type car.

It looks like I'm having issues. Here's a link to the picture I mentioned.

PRR XL series MOW cars were built from former wood boxcars, as well as new superstrucutres on leftover frames. Later on retired Pullman cars were used as the wood cars wore out.

MTH did make a couple styles of these cars, but the best renditions available are the ones built by All Small. His early ones were crafted from wood, there are plans to produce several versions in resin.

There are plans published and can be found online, if you'd like to build your own.

I like that one car with the end platform...it looks like it could have done double

duty as the caboose/last car, and is different from most converted boxcars.  I'd like to see pictures of a steam era D&RGW worktrain. 

I like this 1.  Looks like the ARR had 2 of these.
