Thanks Eddie. You may be interested in knowing that "our" Silver Meteor arrived in Miami 14 hours late yesterday.

I would be THRILLED to have such meets in my model train-desolate region!!

(But then, I probably still wouldn't go. I don't get out much. )

Darn it, I see stuff I would have wanted!  Thanks for sharing photos.  I did the official meet this year so skipped the bandits.  maybe next year...

This was my first visit to the bandit meets and I made the mistake of thinking they lasted all day  Wednesday.  I showed up at the Wyndham at 12:30 and many vendors were shutting down to go to the fairgrounds to set up.  the place was pretty sparse by 2PM.  Thanks Eddie, now I know what I missed!  The days inn was also  totally shut down by mid day I was told, once again for setting up at the fairgrounds.

I arrived too late to visit the bandit meets, but the indoor portion of the Wyndham looked decent.

Just curious - do the vendors at the bandit meets have to deal with the sales tax issue, or are they small enough to escape scrutiny?

 I can’t justify being away from work or the family for too long, so for now I feel lucky to get my once a year 2+ day trip to York. Still, I keep hoping.

I'm sure they are in the "yard sale" category outside. The indoor dealers may be pushing their luck.

Sorry if this has been addressed before but, where are the Bandit Meets held?                  On which days?  Someday when I go, I want the Full Monte.
