I saw on a youtube video (which I cannot find now) a pink tinplate set running at a show. I'm guessing it was a breast cancer awareness release by MTH maybe? Or was it a DIY job? Can anybody share info on this set?

MTH did some tinplate "Girl's" sets, including a pink passenger set. Just enter "girl" at the MTH web site search.

Thanks!
Yep. Think it was MTH 11-5006-1 Girls Train
I have a Standard Gauge MTH pink 408E. “Papa” Steve Eastman may know about pink Standard Gauge produced by MTH.

The 408 is serving fancy tea. How nice of it!
MTH, under the Lionel Corp banner, made a number of pink sets in standard gauge and o gauge in tinplate. I don’t know all of them, but in standard gauge there was a pink and maroon 408e electric and passenger cars and a pink 400e steam engine to haul the standard gauge girls train. In o gauge there was a pink 263e to haul the 2800 series freight tinplate girls train. My wife has the girls train. Here is a video.
