Here are a few photos and a video that my son and I took this last New Years Eve. We stayed in the cabins for a few days and enjoyed the park to our self. We spent a lot of time hiking along the river watching trains and discovering old bldgs. A couple of the photos are from a 85 ft tower that overlooks the river. The temps were about 0 with snow falling so the park was nice and peaceful. We think one of the buildings was for filling steam engines, still has a water pump housing inside it. http://youtu.be/Hx3hEQnzcSg This is a short video of a coal drag, about 90% of the trains hauled coal up here.I also threw in some photos my son and I took while he was on winter break. The one photo is the State capitol in the background.
