I acquired a nkp berk with a ps2 uograde in it. It all works great and has the std Mth berk sounds. Is there a ps2 set available I can load that would have playable whistle or is that just a ps3 feature?

The PS-2 board needed to be a flash board that supported QW. Then there are only some select PS-2 3V sound files with the feature. PS-32 and PS-3 support QW and most if not all Premier PS-3 SF have QW. G
Ahhhhhh....I'm suffering from acronym overload!
I'm guessing....
QW = Qwilling Whistle?
SF = Sound File?
Question.....how does one know if a sound file has/supports Qwilling?
Curious minds want to know!
I would guess the PS/2 FLASH board would also have to have the correct firmware loaded, which we can't do in the field. I have one for a GG-1 stashed away, but I doubt it supports the playable whistle.
If you searched on quillable whistle it would show the units that had it. Limited selection of PS-2 3V engines that had it. It is listed as a feature in the engines features tab. Searching now would have a lot of engines show up since PS-3 premier have it. Can't load PS-3 sound file in to a PS-2 3V though. G
Could you swap the basic PS3 whistle sound file in a PS2 sound file since it doesn’t have the quilling feature?
No, plus the base PS-2 3V board has to support QW via the factory loaded firmware. PS-3 SF not suppose to be able to load into PS-2. 4meg versus 2 meg max. Maybe the editor can take a pS-2QW file and load the QW into a different 3V SF??? Regardless without the supporting firmware of the base board, won't work. G
