Wow lol. I know what's going under my AF bridge now...
with the commercial driver shortage to get worse, expect to see alot more of this in the near future .companys are hiring anyone with a cdl/ medical card,without regard of prior experience, or being qualified to safely handle the large truck/trailer combos we have today.-Jim

RJR; did you include the link in your original past??? When I clicked on it, it led to a suspicious message which only gives you the choice to click OK. Had to reboot to get out of the page without clicking OK.
That's the URL I included, and it still works for me, without a message. Suggest you run antivirus program and post result.
11 foot 8 is real deal last time I went there. The vids are great! Actually, the trucks hit a bar before the bridge, so as to protect the bridge.
There used to be a low bridge on US 59 on Houston's SW Freeway which was struck frequently before the road was rebuilt. The road which used the bridge is caulled HAZARD STREET. No kidding!
11foot8.com is a very popular web site. I have visited there many times and watched the "drivers" (I use the term loosely) hit that beam. The railroad actually had to install a steel beam to protect the bridge itself because it was getting hit so many times, knocking it out of alignment.
The one I continue to be amazed at is the guy in the pickup truck with the big RV trailer. He strips both air conditioners and all the vents off the roof...and keeps right on going! Can you imagine his surprise when he got to the campground and opened the door to that trailer?
Wow.
Right up there with the Russian dash cam vids !
In the 11foot8 vid based on the "Getting Strong Now" theme from ROCKY has an RV. It is at the end. the scrip says: It fits now!
I am disappointed that the railroad has not sharpened the beams on the bottom of the bridge much like grinding the rails. With a nice sharp edge the driver might get a much cleaner shave at this location. Perhaps a permanent track siding there with a magnetic gantry crane to help clean up the debris.
I hope the Dollar Shave Club finds out about that bridge. Their commercials leave me in stitches and I think there must be some comparison between the dull shave this bridge is giving out and the nice smooth shave advertised on TV

RJR;
Seems to be coming from my ISP. The origin time, it was on my iPad - would have liked to follow the link... it said that the Apple store wanted to give me a million dollars - no kidding!!! So I tried it on my PC - same type result, but this time it was a customer satisfaction survey from my ISP - these cheapskates were only going to pay me $75. This attempt was blocked by my Norton Antivirus. I'll have to take it up with the ISP. Sorry if I caused any unnecessary worry.
P.S. when I typed in the website directly in my browser on the iPad and PC, it took me to the site in question, no problems.
It just made the NBC Nightly News
