Interesting. Just what, and where, is the "WW&F" railroad?
I hope to visit the WW&F someday. From what I have seen they are doing a spectacular job of preservation. They just returned #9 to steam, and in addition, they seem to have a well balanced approach to preserving the entire atmosphere of 2 foot gauge Maine railroading. I have been very impressed with their efforts. You can see some great pictures (taken by Kevin Madore) of their 2015 Victorian Christmas event here.
It has been decades since I tried, not very successfully, to track down some of the ruins of the two foot New England narrow gauge railroads. I, as here, keep reading much has been done since then to restore and recreate some of their presence. I hope to make it back to take another look.

Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington is a reconstruction of a 2-foot gauge line in southern Maine.
