What's the Voltage and AMP rating on the units ?

There are 2 models Currently handle one will handle 2 amps, more for HO.

The other can handle 10 amps.

Just depends which relay is installed.

Azatrax makes some nice automation systems if the above doesn't pan out.  Their systems also allow for running two or three trains/trolleys on the same track if you fork one or both end points.  Pricey, but I've always had success with their products.

$65 shipped, although they won't be ready to go for a coupe of weeks.

It all comes in a box, with a wall wart power supply to power the circuits. There are 4 terminals on the outside , 2 for track power in and 2 for the power to go to the track.

You will need cut the rail to install a diode at each end of the run.

When the engine or trolley  crosses the gap it will stop and wait til the reverse time turns on.

So you could have a trolley make a run into a shed for example, and wait for a minute or so and then return to the other end.

Diodes are included ?  and are they ready for shipping ?

Yes, the Diodes are included, although I need to know if this 10 amp load is on the same track, if so, I will have to get some heavier diodes.

Or are you going to control several tracks?

Normally an HO engine on a track just needs a 1 amp diode.

I will be using this at my Train Shows for G scale, 1 track 180ft long. I had bought one 6 years ago from iron penguin seems to be similar to yours and it lasted a long time but finally gave up last fall. It will run an standard DC 20 volts 8 amps at worst, 1 at least. I need a new one I try to support and buy from forum members when possible........  shipping to NY please.
