Polar Express train set differences.

The Christmas season is coming fast. I have some questions for all of the fans of the Polar express sets. Can anyone tell me the differences between the Lion chief set and the 10th anniversary? I see you can get the Berkshire steam engine in scale and the non scale type version. Is the difference in the earlier engine differ in detail and is it any better? I would like more info. I may get one of the sets or build my own that looks better with detail. Thank you, Joe
