Haha oops! I feel like that font makes it tricky.
Last name first. Its a more formal gondola.
Like a Jeep, it's supposed to be read upside down when it is dumped over in a derailment. If you can read this sign, please flip over.
Oh wait, that means it's a super rare error car, don't open it, and in 40 years, it will be worth $15 on the rare collectors lists of mistake cars.

Well, it was done in China, they put their last name first, so they just did the same with this. I am sure there are ppl scrambling to find these, figuring that they will be classified as a 'rarity' and worth a ton of money
C’ mon you guys. You’ve never heard of the Haven New?
Nothing new about that error, it was noticed by folks here who saw the error in the posted announcement when Menards first introduced their gondolas. By then presumably, the entire production run was done.
Somehow, I think the intended audience won't be too distressed by this They did at least get their other New Haven cars correct.

I wonder if every car is done that way.
Yes, it came after the Haven Old.
Alright, a factory error. I wonder what it will go for on eBay? Just flag it as some kind of a beta version.
Steve
On my road it is the Hagerstown Northern. I got one when it first was offered (at the Chillicothe store as it was on the shelf and I was there) as I do like the NH. Eventually, I will ruin all of its collector value by two-railing it!
I have that one. Doesn't worry me a bit . And I lived in New Haven for 13 years.
Looks like the worker is dyslexic.

Guys, as RailRide said above, this error (on the ENTIRE run of cars) was noted and discussed in full when this item came out a year or more ago.
Old news. Time to move on. And these aren’t rare coins or collectible variations of long-treasured postwar freight cars, so this nonsense about inherent value in factory errors is ridiculous. Anyone paying a premium on eBay for a car like this as an investment is just throwing money away.
