Afternoon/evening guys , I know I haven't posted anything lately and that is because of my job and the retired CEO! LOL

Any how I was able to get to the train room today and hooked up all the wires to my isolated track sections and they work! LOL

I plan on spending the week and having the CEO help me figure out if the building placement above where the lower staging yard is going to be. I want to make sure it is right and get everything wired in before I build the staging yard as it will be hard to get to the upper level.

The center area will be covered with foam to form a river or something but will have room for light scenery. I am open to all your thoughts!

I hope you’re all having a great Fathers day and spending a wonderful time with family!

Enjoy and good luck with your plan this week Mike, especially with your helper. I’ll be looking forward to seeing the progress.

Hi guys and gals I hope your all doing well and making progress on any and all of your train projects!

I know it has been a while since I last updated my layout build and it is because I have got a summer job LOL Thinking I am young again! LOL

Anyways I have decided to move my town from the upper level to the lower level and then I added 2 more sidings to the upper level. The new sidings will be for my industrial area. I have temporarily placed some buildings to see how things are and might move them around here and there. Nothing is finalized and I am always open to suggestions so feel free to speak up and let me know what you think. Here are some photos of before and after the move.

I think I am going to let this sink in and also see if any of you wish to comment, Plus I don't want to get too far ahead of myself as I have a ton of ballasting to do! OH SO MUCH FUN! LOL

I hope you all have a great weekend and find time to have fun with your layouts and trains!

Mike, you have helped me to decide to not look for a part time job!  Of course my health really is the deciding factor!

I think your new ideas on town placement with more industry on the upper level looks good.  You are right tat letting this arrangement sink in is a good idea.  As far as ballasting goes, I have yet to ballast any track, and I'm glad I held off with as many changes I have made.

Have a great weekend!
