Here you go folks... Anyone that would like an NS Heritage ES-44AC from Overland should let Brian know. From the Overland newsletter:

This locomotive and 18 others will all be released by Overland Models, Inc in N, HO and O scale brass...with requests for S scale as well.  We are very excited by the opportunity to deliver these fine models to you.  Please be sure to place your pre-orders now with your favorite Overland Models Dealer today.

Special Note:  Every effort will be made to break up deliveries of the units into multiple groups so that no more than 2-3 units arrive at any one shipment.  Our hope is that we can deliver 2-3 units in the first group of ES44AC unit...then BNSF units/ UP Units then 2-3 NS Heritage units and then CP/ CN units...etc.

N Scale Note:  At the request of some modelers it has been requested that we investigate the installation of a DCC plug for these models.  I am going to make every effort to deliver upon this...however...we will not change our price list until this can be confirmed and may also result in a small price increase to deliver.

I thank all the folks of Norfolk Southern with special appreciation to the folks of the Altoona, PA Norfolk Southern Paint Shop and to Casey Thomason for his assistance.

Missy and I hope that these locomotives will be of interest to you and that you will contact your favorite Overland Models Dealer to place your order.  You can find a complete price list at www.overlandmodels.com.  Look for the price list link on our home page directly below the words BUILT TO INSPIRE and to the left of the large model image on the homepage.

Johnny, I see you cross posted this information on Yahoo.  Excellent.

At least you won't get reamed like I do when I mention Scale Flyer over there!

It's been a long time since Overland was in S scale.  Perhaps this will appeal to the more "intense" S Scalers than Scale Flyer locomotives will.  I wish Overland success.

Overland is known for quality and the price will reflect that.

Note the HO heritage locomotives are over $1000, the O Scale about $2400.  Expect the S Scale units to be around $1500 -$1800.

I sure did Rusty. They don't seem to like me much over there, but since these are brass scale models I felt that they would like to know as well. That's the difference between myself and many of the folks over there... I don't mind doing the leg work and coordinating communications that are good for the whole S scommunity. Doesn't matter if it is Scale, Flyer, Scale Flyonel, etc... More manufacturers paying attention to S is good for us all IMHO. I don't go over there much anymore, but I am sure there are folks there that may be interested. I also posted it to the facebook group so hopefully the word is now out.  We'll see what the response is. Brian is looking for interest in any of the NS Heritage units. Once he gauges that I imgagine he will post prices and pre-orders if there is enough interest.

Besides, there is a certain satisfaction in beating them to the post with news about S coming from the alleged "O Gauge Guys!!!"
