Has anyone found out the date for the January catalog? I am hoping for some more NYC similar to the baggage cars released last year. I also hope we're done with Challenger Add-On passenger cars, and the scale PE. That's just me. 21" cars can get very long when you add cars.

Just echoing what Train Nut said, it was said during the last Ryan and Dave show that the catalog will be released January 20th. That probably means it will be online that day, with printed catalogs at your dealer to follow a few days later.
I doubt you’ll see much UP this time around, they offered a large amount of it in the last 2 catalogs so they’ll probably focus on another road this time around.

Little UP would be nice. I am looking forward to the VL release in this catalog. Another thread on that, but it go nasty and shut down. I am interested in a GS-4. I'm sure the market is saturated with all of the prior GS-4s that have been released from Mike. We shall see.
How about a VL Turbine??!!
Milk cars hopefully. I’ve been told it will be out by the Amherst train show which is the 25/26th.
I'm hoping for some more VL rolling stock!
More freight sounds and new tooling of box cars.
I’ll take VL rolling stock.

Yes, milk cars in my lifetime.
Hoping for something new and interesting in the Lion Chief 2.0 line.
I would take VL diesel engine
Im hoping to see the following.
penn Central E7’s both A units powered (one unit being a PRR or NYC stamp; with a super bass B unit)
Long Island RR mu commuter cars (Ryan mentioned at the last York they are working on a re-release of their MU’s)
more sounds & vision rolling stock. (We need a coal hopper with sounds; also VL pig stock car with quillable squealing pig!)
other considerations on my wish list.
GM train of tomorrow boxed set
NYC 20th century limited with a matching dreyfuss hudson
1970’s auto train set to go with the camera dome.
CNJ red sd40

They should also do a Postwar inspired Dreyfuss Hudson as well. Along with more UP Excursion cars like tool cars and support cars.
It would be great if there was an update on what happened to the O scale Auto Racks on 89' Flat Cars that were announced over a year ago.

How about the UP GAS TURBINE?
Since the PWC and CC lines were discontinued and I also collect the "premium sets" I would like to see more freight sets, just no more coal or tank trains for a while.
How about a refrigerated train set like the Orange Juice Train we see here in South Eastern PA, or a grain hopper set, or a CSX container aka "the garbage train" set with the the 3 or 4 square containers on a flat car which haul trash.
Long Island RR GP38 in the Blue Wave and Bicentennial schemes.

This!
I'd love to see another round of die-cast diesels... (With the handrail a little less fragile)
I'm still hoping for some new subways, hopefully a R160 or R46. Just something more modern.

I don't know about a trash train but I'd like some long container flats. CP manifests that I see sometimes have long flat cars with orange containers on them, normally only about 2 or 3 if they're even on a train.

I second that would like if they did them again for people that didn't buy one before.
They need to put a LionScale freight car delivery update in the catalog, so people stop asking for a while.

There might need to be a re-cataloging of the O scale freight cars that have not been produced in the past year.
How about a 226E set and more postwar CC 726, 736, & 2056 in plain black like the originals and forget all those multi color paint jobs.
