My post was declined for photos to be approved. I didn’t try to post any photos it was only a text reply

Attempted to reply to a post by Dave Nichols looking for items to purchase. My response was check your email and that post was declined because the photos had to be approved. Sorry for not providing specifics initially.

You cannot reply to FS/ WTB posts in the Forum. You must contact the poster via email.
There are still some members looking to buy or sell that do not have their email address in their profile.
How they expect to be contacted remains a mystery.
There are several posts after the initial WTB post, before I tried to insert mine.

I get that occasionally and only in the WTB section and yes sometimes I can reply in the WTB section and sometimes I get what Mark got.

Mark, I'm sorry, but this still doesn't help me. I can't go searching for some post by someone to troubleshoot this.

What Mark is talking about is he replied to a want to buy post by stating he sent an email which bumps the post up if it is approved. The mods have not been approving such posts because they do not add anything to the thread since the OP is getting an email. I can't speak to Mark's reference to "photos".

Since it has become clear that this post is about forum moderation, maybe it should be deleted?
It really shouldn't be deleted I say clearly to respond by email in my profile which has the email address. Thank you, Dave

Perhaps this shouldn't have been a thread at all. Is there a way to contact the moderators directly if one has a question/problem? I assume there is. That seems like the proper channel, not starting a topic.
