I'm making slow but steady progress on my new, toy-train themed layout using mainly PW accessories inherited from my grandfather. It's been a few years since I had his old 182 magnetic crane working.
Is there an easy way to turn on the light below the cab separately from use of the crane? I like being able to light up all the accessories separately as I've done with the Gateman, Coaling Station, Freight Station, and Yard Tower.
Otherwise, I read through the directions, and it appears to be a relatively straight-forward setup. Connect a hot and ground wire from a transformer to the two terminal posts on the base, right? Any other words of wisdom from experienced members? I saved this one for last since I haven't tackled it since I was a kid working with my father and grandfather on it.
