I am in the process of putting together my first real train layout. I have a mix of my old post war Lionel trains, and my newly purchased MTH PS3 high tech trains. Is it possible to run these trains together? I have the MTH track interface unit for the new trains, and my old Z transformers for the Lionel. What about sidings? How do you park a train without having to remove it from the track and place it on a non powered track? This can be quite a task with an A-B-A unit.
