In the very bottom right corner of the video window there is a button to make the video full screen so it is easier to see.

Apple - for creating movies? iMovie is probably one of the best consumer friendly video packages I have ever worked with. So if that is the type of editing you are asking about.
I made the Tutorials with a product called ScreenFlow - It's windows counterpart is Camtasia. It allows you to record your computer screen and then it has an editor where you can zoom up the screen, highlight the cursor, etc. Some people try to use it for all their editing, but it is best suited for screen capture.

I like this one. If you go to 1:44 in the video they roll that thing right down the middle of the city street in Oakland - that would have been an amazing thing to watch in person.
