I'm having issues with the e unit on my 2046 and need to get at it. Is there a way of getting the body off without taking off the steam chest and disconnecting the drivers etc? Hoping there is a way to avoid all that. Thanks
Those are easy to run with the shell off. Remove the trailing truck 1st., then 1 screw in the center of the steam chest, & one screw on top of the boiler.
