I have not run my GG1’s as my layout is a series of 031 return loops via 022 turnouts. I have in this past week decided to utilize the springs and washers specifically designed for the stability purpose. I’ve only had the items a decade! Retired now I had no more excuse! I chose the 2332 black GG1 I have as the test project. Bore larger holes in the two washers provided and sandwiched the spring on the truck peg. All seemed to be going great. Now I’m excited! Placed on the track and it seems that the two trailing trucks are very stable. Just one thing though. See video.
