Very nice . When your daughter turn up the Texas Special I thought it was going to crash.
She's a doll, Christopher, and the layout is terrific! BTW, what is the road material? It shows off the vehicles very well.

Me too
I have the ZW set that if you go above 16 volts w/ the A&D posts, the levers hit the board, so it can't put more than 16 volts to the track. NOt perfect, but stops her from just letting them rip! I guess the Texas Special has good Magnetraction

Thanks
The road is just paint on plywood. I did a primer first & then put down the tan color. I got it from Lowes. I tried to match the color of the classic '50's display layouts
that kind of reminded me of my daughter testing out our new z transformer saturday night. good thing i have mostly 072 curves you should see how fast a 2245 will go with 25 volts of power and an 8 year old at the knob....lol
Christopher, a classic postwar style layout! I can smell the ozone and to share this with your daughter is fantastic.
All the best,
Miketg
Chris,
Very nice, she has grown so much!

Christopher, your little Lucia is a natural. Your layout is wonderful. No sound system can duplicate that wonderful sound of wheels on three rail track. I have stepped across the line to a more scale railroad but a little part of me still wants to build a layout like yours. It's why many of us got into railroading. It's Christmas all year long in your house. Thanks, take more video and feed our hunger for the 50's. Don
Hi Christopher,
Very thrilling video! I too was on the edge of my seat wondering if any of the engines were going to fly off the track. Lots of action on your layout. While it is reminiscent of the 1950's, it is very different in that girls can be the engineer on your layout and not just sit by and watch. Great job! Dave
Beautiful!

Christopher ,
Your daughter is beautiful, and she was having a great time running the trains.
Thanks for posting the video's

What a sweetheart!!! Cherish them, love them, roll around on the floor and giggle with them for Life is fragile and her health and your life can change in an instant. Thank you. It made my night.
The posts above have all said it: a darling daughter and an absolutely perfect classic postwar layout.
Thank you all for the kind comments. Glad everyone liked the videos!
It's really fun to have Lucia in there running the trains with me. She gets really proud when she blows the horn or makes an accessory operate. Reminds me of when I was a kid!
