Power for aiu

i am new to dcs and I now have a aiu unit for my accessories...I can not figure out how to power the unit...my set up is as such....I have Two loops useing fixed inputs 1&2 Using a ZW transformer with 3amp circuit breakers on each output. My dsc says no aui found. How does it get its power? Can a separate transformer such as a brick? Or is it wired into my A output on my ZW the same output I have the tiu running off of? Hope you understand what I am trying to get across....I just don't get it. And the manual is not much help....thanks guys

How are you attempting to access the AIUs? Exactly what are you doing and exactly what is occurring? Be specific.

How does it get its power?

The AIUs get their power from. their connection to the TIU.

Ok I got it to work..by useing the tiu remote....I was trying to use it with the wifi unit with my iPad and it does not see the aui.... Not sure what I am doing wrong there......any help with that would be great.......

Also I am just using the aui for accessories no switches... ....can I use a separate brick just for the accessories or do I need to use the same transformer that the tiu is using that the aiu is plugged into....

You should power switch tracks and accessories just as you would power them if you were operating them manually.
