Not at all sure this is a good idea, but one of my favorites was the "J" pulling a string of Tuscan cars, on those timetables my station agent grandfather would bring me from the Fairbank depot. So I bought this thing from Vince, back when they were pretty expensive. The experts tell me it is full of flaws - boiler taper, cylinder block, tender deck - who knows? But it has always pleased me with its brass construction, its baked on paint with proper Tuscan stripe, and its smooth running (after I pulled the out-of-balance flywheel).
