My mom, 99, has barely a few hours left. I'm hopeful I can get to her side before she passes. She gave me trains at the age of 3. Prayers for both of us would help.

Sorry to hear that, Eliot, my prayers are with her and with you that you are able to get there in time.

It's a tough time, Eliot! My Mom (97) passed in August - and the adjustment has not been easy.

my 86 year old mother is dying...we owe them everything,don't we : even trains,it was my mother that went to the local hardware store and purchased me a train set... I always thought, wouldn't it be nice if these tracks went more than just a circle...:?

Eliot, prayers from us to you, Mom and family in this time. My Mom bought me trains when she came across them in antique shops, flea markets, etc. even up until I was in my 50s. She also drove me down to the M.P. tracks South of Midland when a steam engine headed a work train in the early '60s. yes, Moms, as well as Dad's are all special, one-of-a-kind and from them we gain so much, owe them eternally, love unending.
