I have used many O Scale PSC steam loco parts over the years and wish the new owners well.  I have always wondered how large their customer base for these parts is to keep them going.  I know many O scale modelers but very few use locomotive detailing as part of their interest in this hobby.  Today it seems like most O scale folks just want to purchase finished brass locos.  It would be a real loss to my hobby if PSC went away.

I am currently finishing up an original 1946 Varney B&O Ten Wheeler that I purchased last year on ebay in the original blue tool box.  Some of the parts in this kit were pretty crude compared to those found in later versions of this kit but I have taken the time to detail it and I think it will look okay.   I have another one of these that will also be completed this summer.  I will keep one and sell the other when they are finished and painted.

Lots of time spent at the workbench.

I've used some PSC parts, and I hope to use more, so I also hope they stay in business.

I hope so too GRJ! I just purchased some cab interior details off da bay. I hope that psc doesn't fade out like central Locomotive works did back I'm the 1990's. Bought from Jan Lorenz then moved to the left coast. Three years after move and website of parts running online, the business abruptly closed.

I've ordered 3 Tomar drumhead kits from them in the past few months. Fast shipping and easy to deal with. Online ordering is a bit clunky but it works.
