Picked this up Sunday. I don’t see an exact match in the Greenberg book, but I’m guessing it is from the XVIII series. The tender is not correct, but that’s what was with it.

It's the same shell as the engine (XVIII) in the AF Dictator Set but, in addition to the side rod assembly being different it looks like the motor is different as well. Actually, I don't recognize the side rods as being of AF manufacture.

I agree with Robert S. Butler that the side rods are questionable for Flyer and that the motor appears to be incorrect for the boiler.

Schuweiler lists it as a 25/125, type XVIII but the side rods are as in Robert's photo. I don't see any straight single rods on the early Flyers.
