Dialogs are private conversations between two or more members of the site. Only participants of the dialog can view the contents of the dialog.
Sounds kinda like PM? Never used it but it can be accessed with the little "Dialogs" box to the left of your avatar and personal settings area in the top info bar at top of page on the right side.
I think its only reserved for Premium Members
Probably is, I just happened to notice that box recently and went in to check out the description (posted above). Didn't even know it was there until then.

Well...actually, we do offer Private Messaging, which we call "Dialogs." The feature is available to Premuim Members.
i just wanted to send someone my email & didn't want it out there for spam bots to snag...
