Yesterday, when I was running trains, I hit the refresh button on the DCS app as there were no engine shown active (even though several had track power). After only a few seconds, the app would time out and I received an error message. I tried refreshing several times with no success. Finally, I reset power to the interface unit. After resetting power, i was able to select an engine.
Iv had to do this several times in the past. Anyone know what may be going on with our interface unit.

Use a USB to serial adapter cable.
Lionel 15, I have had the same problem. One time all trains are working fine, the next time my iPhone says no TIU found. Unplugging the TIU from the wifi unit works sometime. Now I can't even get the TIU light on the WIU to come on. I have also experienced, "train not on track" when it is setting with lights on and sound on. ????
Any suggestions?
Steve, I would try another cable. You may have loose connection or bad wire. I had a problem a couple of years ago. I replaced the old cable with a Belkin, which I still use.
