My MTH Galloping Goose with Proto sound has been working just find.  Then, all of a sudden, the horn starts up when the Goose is running and sounds for about 10 seconds and then stops.  When it gets around the "pretzel", it starts up again and sounds again for 10 seconds.  I'm not having any luck with the instructions and the clanks and clinks to turn it off.  Any ideas?  Thanks for your help.  David

Thanks for your suggestion.  The track is brand new and if I reverse the Goose, it still happens, but in a different part of the pretzel.  If it isn't the track, is there a way of getting into the program to turn off the automatic horn?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thanks everybody for their help.  I appreciate it.

1.  I was running no accessories.
2.  Track is brand new "fast track".  It's sitting on carpet and is not screwed down to anything.  So, I pushed the tracks together, even though they looked like they were tight.  And, that took care of the problem.  I ran the Goose around the pretzel about 10 more times, and no honking.

Yay!

Well, got up this morning and turned on the Goose and it's still honking.

Checked the track and pushed it together, although it's brand new and looked pretty tight. No luck, still honked in same places on the track

That was when I noticed that the track was dirty.  So, I got out some Reinigungsflussigkeit (track cleaner)  and cleaned the track.  Man was it dirty.  Got all the black stuff off and now it runs with no unintended honking.

Again, thanks for your help.
