My MTH Galloping Goose with Proto sound has been working just find. Then, all of a sudden, the horn starts up when the Goose is running and sounds for about 10 seconds and then stops. When it gets around the "pretzel", it starts up again and sounds again for 10 seconds. I'm not having any luck with the instructions and the clanks and clinks to turn it off. Any ideas? Thanks for your help. David

First thing I'd check would be the track condition and how it's powered in the area you are having the problem. If it only happens on one part of the layout, I'd be looking at the location.

Open the engine up and separate the two boards and put them back together. I would be leaning on what John stated. Do you have any accessories hooked to your track in that area where the horn sounds?

Thanks for the feedback, that sure sounded like a track issue. Glad it was a "cheap" fix.
