I have a problem with my Lionel Alco Command Control locomotive. It has always worked fine in command mode, up until now. I run it with the trainmaster control, cab-1, tpc-300 setup. Now, as soon as I apply track power, the engine takes off at high speed, as if in conventional mode. I am sure the TPC is in command mode. I tried to reset the engine following the instructions in the manual but even with the engine switch set to program, it immediately takes off and can't be reset. I tried several times to do the reset, and tried it with 2 different tpc 300's. My conventional engines run fine and all conventional functions work with the tpcs set to conventional. I do not have any other command engines to try. Has anyone had a similar problem?
