It is a real disapointment when you drive 10 miles home to lay down the new Lionel track you just got.
Then you find that two pices short out when you turn the power on. The real bummer is that we sell it at our store.

One had not been crimped wrong that was the curved track.
The outher was the 3 ft section. missing the insulater.
Just wanted an old time train under tree.Did not want to pull my hair out.

Sorry to hear that Harry! At least you have easy access to replacement track.

Not difficult to fix, but of course you shouldn't have to fix new track. I look things over carefully before I buy even if they are new.
