Hello everyone, I recently obtained a set of K Line F7s ABA with TMCC and cruise control. K-25332 and K-25333-3642. I set them up on my legacy remote tethered. But when I try to run the engines together they are slow and sluggish even at full throttle. I even just tried the main A unit alone and it performed the same way. What am I doing wrong?

Try reset reprogram code from instructions. Also check momentum. Can also try with cruise off. May be selection mode you are using with legacy also, but others more familiar with legacy can comment.
It could also be the flaky K-Line cruise module, just do a search and you'll find a litany of folks having similar issues.
Maybe could try setting it up in R100 mode on the Legacy Remote. Found sometimes some K-Line or Atlas engines run better in that mode.

For the said engine address push the info button. Scroll to control type and select R100. It is recommended for ERR and non Lionel command boards.
REL 100 MODE
100 Relative speed commands
Electric RR or EOB speed control
Lionel OEM’s (with Electric RR cruise)

Thanks to everyone who replied to this. I switched the engine over to R100 on the Legacy and then it started to run at expected speeds.
Ain't life grand! 
One issue with the K-Line cruise and TMCC mode is it can only get to the first 32 speed steps of the possible 128 steps, R100 mode doesn't have that problem.
I knew there was a selection issue via Legacy too, but not sure of the specifics. Glad others chimed in. G
