Anyone have issues viewing the catalog right now? Mine says cannot connect to Lionel server or firewall may be blocking the content. I know it can't be the latter. Maybe too much traffic for their servers to handle?

I got the same message.

Okay cool. I thought it was just me and my computer. Looks like problem is on their end.
Same problem for me just now. I had no problem this morning. Lionel must be having a problem right now.
Me too....the viewer doesn't display on my iPad. Waited all day.....didn't sneak any peaks at work....just sat down to relax and view the catalog, but it won't load.

Same thing here as well I tried a bunch of times I finally gave up, just wait for the paper copy!
Yep, I got it too, I went to Legact station site and got the PDF version. Drove me nuts too. GGGGrrrr
I got the same message for the last two hours. I was able to get it this morning about 10:30 AM with no problem. Way too many visitors I guess. Let them all go buy Apple watches, and let us see the trains!
Nope, looked at it first thing this morning and had no issues.
Saw it this morning but can't now, same message about my firewall.
It is definitely on Lionel's end because if you try to view older catalogs in Flash mode, you will get the same error or something similar.

Yup it's broke on their (Lionel's) end.

Works now.
And we're back.
Massive solar flare.
This is quite a generalization

What did you buy that you had quality issues with that Lionels service dept wasn't able to help you with?
Which Days?
Jerry Calabrese days?
Richard Kuhn days?
MPC days?
1960's Postwar days?
Classic 1945-1959 Postwar days?
Prewar days?

Happy Days?
And what have you paid extra for recently that was built in the USA vs buying similar but cheaper product built overseas?
How many of Lionel's "Made in the USA" cars have you bought?
No evidence QC was better, the items were a lot less complicated than they are now, but something kept all those Lionel Repair shops busy.
As for customer service, I call BS on that, Not sure what you think was better 20 years ago or even 10, but Lionel's service dept is top notch and had been that way for several years. Go knock yourself out trying to use MTH's service dept or try to order parts without having to "Call Midge" Report back to us how that goes

Wow. The lady Midge is still there? I think it's been years since I ordered a part for one of the few MTH items I own. Funny thing is that it was always her that took the call, processed the order, and probably shipped it out. Kinda makes you wonder if she is the only person in their parts department to this day.
I've seen Lionel's parts department from the pictures posted on their blog and it's quite an operation and very organized. I am glad they have an online system to go with it as well.

Thanks Captain Bringdown...I was just getting ready to respond to every topic and add a couple new topics filled with mindless drivel. I guess I'll have to try a different tactic.

Andrew, trust me, you haven't seen bashing yet.
