What does it mean on the MTH product pages when it has the UPGRADE icon under the Support tab, but it's greyed out?

When there is one, it means there is a newer sound file available for it. Usually it was a older 5v Proto2 item that has a newer file that works in the 3v Proto2 or Stacker boards.

That's what I thought. The icon is there, but greyed out though without linking to a file.

Under the support tab. I just get a grey icon for "UPGRADE". Just never saw that before.
Hope the link doesn't go against forum rules.....
That icon is only applicable when there's a 5V PS/2 file. Since that subway was released as a 3V product, there is only one sound file. If you need a sound file, just download the one that's there, it's the correct file for this product.
Thanks John, so that original file being a 3V will work for a PS3 upgrade board then?

Yes you can load it into a PS-3 diesel board. But you still need to load a PS-3 flash code for the model engine you have for the PS-3 diesel board. So you could also load the PS-3 Sound file. But if you want the orig station stops, load the PS-2 3V file.
PS-2 5V file can only be loaded into PS-2 5V boards, different format. G
