I am posting some pictures of how much progress i have made so far,it is taking more time than i thought, but thats ok because it is a lot of fun, besides i keep changing things around, even when i think i want to put something in one place,i come back the next day & move it somewhere else,it's like playong shuffle board. What i find this time around is at times i feel overwhelmed because i have to go slow & try to figure out where to put everything, plus i hope to have room to put some scratch built structures on the layout, the good news is i still have the second level to do,what i may do is stop what i am doing on the first level & layout the track down on the second level & see how many buildings I can put up there,it's a slow process but thats ok it is a lot of fun. I will post more photos as i move along & any comments, both pro & con are welcomed.

Hi Jerry,
Great progress, I like the way you made your bench work. This way you can reach everything easy
Alex
that is looking great!
Looks good. You sure have a lot of bricks there.Better more power then not enough.Nick
Sure like your collection of Plasticville buildings and the Noma Station. Brings back memories of my first layout. Nice work, keep it going.
Nice job on your Fastrack layout. You are doing one heck of a job and taking advantage of some corners also. Every piece of track and switch you can put down means more for the eye to see and you hit the nail on the head.

Great photos and an awesome looking layout. My hats off you.
Rockstars1989, I forgot to mention before that there are 2 independent loops on the first level,& there will be 2 independent loops on the second level, each loop will be powered from a 180 watt power house. Each loop will have 5 feeders using #14 stranded wire.
Alex, one of the main reasons i rebuilt the layout was because it was a real pain to reach all areas of the layout, now i can reach anywhere on the layout without any problem, that is why it is taking me a little longer to place things,i want to make sure i can reach all areas without anything in my way.
Looks very nice and also looks like you are making very good progress. Doesn't seem that long ago you had a bare room there that was just starting to be remodeled. And as others have said, also looks like you have good access to everything, that is nice.
I do the same as you have been doing, put some things out, run the trains for a while and decide to change things around, but I think that's part of the fun of it all. I haven't planned my access as well as you have though, need to work on that one.
RTR12, You are right it was only a couple of months ago & there was nothing but a big mess there,as i said before,i keep moving things around,in fact even since i posted these photos i have moved some buildings around, but you know that is a large part of the fun when doing a layout,it is taking longer to do things, but i am really enjoying this part of the project,& besides there is NO DEADLINE TO MEET it's all fun, fun, fun !!!!!
Real nice layout
Steve
Hi Jerry,
Can you take a overall picture of the layout, so we can get a better feel for it
Thanks,
Alex
Alex,i tried to take an full view of the layout as best i could, because of the location of the layout & the small size of the room ,it is hard to get a good overall view of the layout,so i took these pictures & i hope this helps a little better, plus the fact that there are so many tools & scenery materials around,it makes it even harder to get good picture of the whole layout. As more areas get finished,i should be able to get better pictures. Thanks for asking. Jerry

Jerry: Your pictures with the columns remind me of the gang-fight scene in West Side Story (the movie). It looks great so far.

Great pictures, the layout looks great!!!!!!
Thanks for taking the pictures,
Alex
Jerry,
One of my favorite structures is the Plasticville factory. Yours looks great.
