PROTECTION CIRCUIT IN AUTOS

Some late model autos have a new circuit protection system called smart FET. It continuously monitors all electronic circuits in the auto and shuts off the power to a specific circuit if it detects a problem or it is not acting properly. Sounds like something we could use in our layouts!
