Proto 3 Milwaukee Road f-7 won't run | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Has anyone on the Forum experienced problems with Proto-3 engines. I tried to run a Milwaukee Road F7 and initially the engine started up and ran but no headlight or Mars light on the lead A unit. Then, the engine went completely dead. No electrical smells or anything else. Just won't respond to start up at all.

Do you have full DCS (tiu & remote) If so delete and add again, see what happens. Let it charge a few seconds.

I run conventionally. I did a full reset but nothing changed.

Top suspect is the 2-rail/3-rail switch, these have been a problem with a number of PS/3 engines for me.
