Hey all!
Recently had this engine upgraded to ProtoSound 3.0 (it was LocoSound). All works great and lights up great, however both ditch lights flash together rather than alternating (or oscillating) as they should. Anybody know what the potential fix to this is? I attached a video.

How did you connect these lights?
perhaps who ever did the upgrade installed the wrong sound file, the sound file controls which lights work, you could try to reload the correct file for your engine! what is your engine item number and I'll look it up for you !

I believe the sound file loaded in was for item number 30-20053-1, but my tech told me he was having a hard time loading the PS3 sound file so it may be a sound file for a PS2 3-volt. I have the DCS loader software so I can try and reload one myself. Alan, would you be able to maybe provide me a few suggestions as for what sound file I can re-load into it?

Since it's a PS3 kit with a PS3 board download the chain and sound files from this PS3 Amtrak Dash 8: 30-20164-1 | MTH ELECTRIC TRAINS (mthtrains.com)
Upload the files to the locomotive and see if that solves the issue. That's what the tech should have done.
