Hi everyone,

Please, I would like to know which model train manufacture produces a 1:48 scale size P.RR. L.C.L., M.S. Phase 1, 40ft. steel X-29, or X-29B box car in a faithful representation of the actual box car?

I've seen only one Phase 1, X-29B, 40ft. box in a B&W builder's photo., as such:http://home.comcast.net/~abbuc...No._15_10-04_PDF.pdf

This photo. is on "The Keystone Modeler's" Web-Site, number 14 of Oct. 2004,.

From a color photo.: the red lettering, in the aluminum section of the white (background) band, has white outlining, the lettering reads: "MERCHANDISE SERVICE" and the circle, of the circle keystone, is aluminum, with red interlocking P.RR. letters in a white keystone and the keystone is on a red background/field, within the circle.

The majority of the color of the cars were either a Tuscan red, or box car brown.

All other photos I've seen, in both B&W and color, of the Phase 1 scheme, are of longer boxes and all photos. are a builder's photo. depicting one static car, per photo.

Another builder's B&W photo. depicts a static 40ft. Phase 2 box.
I also saw a B&W photo. of a Phase 3 40ft. box, coupled between two different type of boxes and all are static.

I would like to purchase a Phase 1, 3-rail, faithful version, whether made of plastic, or brass and I would like to know the manufacture, price and shipping and handling costs, if available?

Thank you,

RJL
